Love Kazunori! The handrolls are always quality and consistent. Don't be discouraged if there's a line around dinner time, this normally goes by quickly. This location is pretty small, dark, and intimate!

Love Kazu. I've been here 4-5 times now and will continue to do so until I have reason not to! If you like handrolls (or think you might), Kazu is the place for you. Their menu is simple: it's pretty much just handrolls. They make it easy with set menus of 3-6 rolls depending on how hungry you are. They prep the rolls skillfully in front of you for maximum freshness! The price is very reasonable- you're eating high quality, fresh fish just steps away from the ocean in Santa Monica! Under $30 for 6 rolls. Hard to beat that.

Came here on Sunday around 2pm and was able to snag a seat for 3 people with no problem. I ordered the 6-Hand roll set which is $28 which came with: Toro Hand Roll Yellowtail Hand Roll Salmon Hand Roll Bay Scallop Hand Roll Crab Hand Roll Lobster Hand Roll The toro and yellowtail were my favorite. Honestly all the rolls were very flavorful so I didn't even need to dip it into soy sauce. Fish quality was amazing especially for the price. This was also the perfect amount. Enough to satisfy and not feel stuffed. Definitely will come back.
